Ian joined us in 2000 from Pannell Kerr Forster after practicing insolvency for the previous 20 years with Big Four firms. A member of R3 and a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales (from which he also takes his Insolvency License), he is currently a member of the ICAEW Investigation Committee.
Over the years, Ian has dealt with all types of insolvency procedures in a career spanning three recessions. He presides across the South West region which covers the whole of Devon and Cornwall (including the Scilly Isles), together with as much of Somerset and Dorset as he can muster. He deals with all types of personal and corporate insolvency and also concentrates on pre- and post-lending review work for all the major lending institutions.
In 2013, Ian was the joint administrator of Proserv Corporate Limited – a business providing catering services to a range of customers including numerous schools across Somerset, Cornwall and Devon. Ian oversaw the sale of the business to a third party and safeguarded 200 jobs from redundancy – and crucially ensured continuity of the provision of school dinners for thousands of pupils across the South West.
He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales and also on the ICAEW Investigation Committee.
