UK consumers spent a whopping £810 million on online purchases alone on Black Friday 2014 and backed that up by spending another £720 million in the same way a few days later on Cyber Monday.

Expectations are that the 2015 Black Friday splurge in the UK will see more than a billion pounds spent in a single day for the first time ever.

Here’s a look at just some of the places you’ll be able to find Black Friday bargains this year.


There’s no stopping the popularity of Apple products in the UK or anywhere else and rumours of the tech giant’s Black Friday offers have been swirling around for weeks. It remains to be seen what discount will be offered but it could well be worth checking out the UK Apple Store come Friday.


Argos is already offering Black Friday discounts on an array of products at its stores nationwide and online.


One of the world’s biggest sports brands is getting notably energised about this year’s Black Friday and promising a host of eye-catching discounts on the day.


AO.com is promising “massive deals” and “huge savings” on a broad array of electrical goods and household appliances with free delivery.


Amazon has been among the leading pioneers of Black Friday as a concept in the UK and the E-commerce giant is aiming to help make November 17th 2015 the biggest Black Friday yet.


ASOS is describing itself as being “beyond excited” for both Black Friday and Cyber Monday, with all manner of discount deals promised on its latest men’s and women’s fashion lines.

Ann Summers

The UK’s best-known lingerie retailer is offering 20% off everything on Black Friday, with discounts on virtually every kind of underwear you can think of.

Ark Clothing

The fashion retailer is offering 30% off all its winter warmers for men and women, as well as all its party wear.


If there’s a model plane enthusiast in your life then the AirFix website is perhaps the best place to grab a bargain on their behalf this Black Friday.



The achingly cool British fashion brand is inviting Black Friday discount hunters to its UK stores and promising as-yet-unspecified cut price deals from Friday through until Cyber Monday.


Using the code BLACKSFRIDAY, anyone shopping online with the outdoor apparel specialist Blacks can bag themselves 20% off all full priced items from Friday. 


Another hugely popular online fashion retailer getting in on the act this Black Friday is Boohoo, which is already running a variety of special offers via online codes and looks set to keep them coming. 


B&Q is perhaps Britain’s most recognisable DIY chain and it too has the Black Friday bug and will be offering “amazing” discounts online and in store on many of its most popular products.


BHS (British Home Stores) is asking its customers to “stay tuned for amazing offers and exclusive discount deals” on Black Friday, with bargains set to be offered from within both the fashion and home sections of its business.


Boots’ pharmacy and cosmetics stores around the country are set to offer a broad range of Black Friday deals, with the company promising that there will be something for everyone this year.


Burton has had fashion outlets on British high streets and in its shopping centres for decades and it will be offering discounts in-store and online over the long weekend from Black Friday to Cyber Monday.


One of the UK’s favourite clothing retailers, Bonmarche is already offering dozens of items at what it bills as Black Friday prices while stocks last. 

Carphone Warehouse

The Carphone Warehouse sells much more than just mobile phones and it is offering sizeable discounts for a limited time only on a host of electrical products.


Clarks is another British high street stalwart getting in on the act this Black Friday, with the shoe-maker already running flash offers and 25% discounts while making promises of much more to come.

Popular footwear retailer Cloggs stock some high profile brands such as Dr Martens, UGG Australia, Converse, Timberland, FitFlop and Hunter Wellies. You can get 20% off with the code BFRIDAY.


CDKeys is something of a one-stop-shop for computer game lovers and there are major savings promised for Black Friday 2015.


Currys is encouraging customers to take advantage of its various Black Friday offers via online channels and from the comfort of their own computer screens this year.


There isn’t really much that Debenhams doesn’t sell and seemingly not much is off limits to its Black Friday offers this year.  

Disney Store

Disney is aiming to make Black Friday 2015 the most magical yet and is offering discounts on all manner of products from its stores around the UK.


The chance to make cut-price practical purchases are a big part of the appeal of Black Friday and this is apparently not lost on Dyson, which will be offering discounts on some of its latest vacuum cleaners across the weekend. 


eBay is offering a vast number of Black Friday deals on virtually every type of product imaginable. A visit to the online auction site is sure to stir up some Christmas gift ideas. 


Ebuyer’s message to Black Friday shoppers is simple – if you want top tech and low prices then its website is the place to go.

Early Learning Centre

There are no half measures at the Early Learning Centre when it comes to Black Friday discounts, with the top UK toy seller offering up to 60% off everything!

Electrical Discount UK

Electrical Discount UK is promising “crazy” Black Friday deals on its array of computers, kitchen appliances and home cinema equipment via its online channels and from Friday right through until Cyber Monday. 


Figleaves is well-established as one of Britain’s most popular lingerie retailers and it is already running a variety of discount offers with the promise of more to come on Black Friday and Cyber Monday.

Fragrance Shop

All things fragrant will be on special sale at the Fragrance Shop from Friday, with 15% discounts on men’s and women’s gift sets.


Firebox brings together a bewildering array of unusual products under one online roof and offers them as giftsets. Its Firebox best-sellers that normal go for £130 will be offered for just £69.99 on Black Friday.


Groupon’s Black Friday focus will be on offering all manner of daily deals and extra discounts on products and services where you live. 


GAME’s strategy for Black Friday 2015 has been to offer a host of computer game products at discounted prices and see how long they last. Many of its top offers are already selling quickly and “when they’re gone, they’re gone”.  


Goldsmiths the jewellers is offering up to 25% off on selected items from Black Friday until December 1st, with watches, rings, bracelets and necklaces among the products being discounted.


Homebase is already offering an array of DIY products at discounted prices as it builds its way towards Black Friday, when a host of other offers are expected to be launched. 

House of Fraser 

The department store group is promising to go big on Black Friday 2015, with up to 50% off across its men’s and women’s fashion lines and its home, electricals and beauty selections.


Hewlett-Packard (HP) is one of the world’s leading computer makers and is offering up to £120 off some of its leading products in the UK.


Halfords sells car parts and accessories, camping gear and bikes for all ages and is promising that its Black Friday discounts will be “back with a vengeance” in 2015. 

John Lewis

John Lewis has said it will price match all of its competitors in the UK on Black Friday 2015 and deliver discounts on hundreds of products across its electricals offerings.

JD Sports

JD Sports is offering more than 3,000 items from its sports fashion ranges at discount prices as part of its Black Friday sale.


The UK clothing and jewellery retailer Joules will be aiming to add some colour to this year’s Black Friday by offering up to 50% off many of its products.


Laptops at lower than usual prices will be very much the order of the day for LaptopsDirect on November 27th, with the online portal promising amazing deals when Friday rolls around. 


Computer-maker Lenovo offered up to 20% off many of its premium products on Black Friday 2014 and is promising that this year’s sales extravaganza will be bigger and better than ever. 

Look Fantastic

Look Fantastic offers a huge range of beauty products and brands via its online channels and is gearing up to slash its prices with Black Friday deals across its site.

MandM Direct

MandM Direct is a popular online clothing store in the UK and is offering 20% discounts on dozens of products by way of celebration in time for Black Friday.

Marks & Spencer 

The UK high street titan is offering up to 50% off selected clothing, beauty and homeware products in the run up to Black Friday and will be offering plenty of ‘Hot Buys’ on the day.


Millets’ Black Friday sale is already on and it involves 30% discounts on all manner of outdoor clothing lines, footwear, camping and fashion products. 

Moss Bros

If you’ve been waiting for the right moment to buy a new suit then November 27th might just be the right day, with Moss Bros offering significant discounts on Black Friday at its stores throughout the UK and online.  


Mothercare is among the biggest toy and baby product retailers in the UK and its Black Friday deals are already on sale with heavy discounts on a wide variety of products.


Maplin will be offering everything from home computing to DIY solutions at knockdown prices on Black Friday, with home electricals, connectors and all manner of gadgets also set to be discounted.


The self-proclaimed ‘smart phone people’ of Mobiles.co.uk are already offering discounts on mobile devices and will be doing so through until Monday November 30th.


Airlines are increasingly getting into the Black Friday spirit, with Monarch among those offering a variety of special deals on flights and holidays this week. 

New Look

New Look is getting as excited as anyone about Black Friday and is offering up to 40% off its various fashion lines throughout Cyber Week.


Next is offering fashion consumers the chance to snap up a few bargains before Christmas.



O2 is promising to discount a raft of mobile phones and will generally be “crashing prices” throughout Black Friday.

Park Resorts

Park Resorts will be offering up to 60% off 2016 short breaks in the UK over the course of its 24-hour Black Friday sale. 


You may or may not realise that not all of Poundland’s products actually cost £1 and in fact many of its offerings cost considerable more. There will, however, be plenty of extra discounts on offer via the retailer’s website in time for Black Friday.


Sainsbury’s is promising to deliver some seriously appealing in-store deals on everything from Dyson’s to Nutribullets and from computers to coffee makers.


If you are into your surfwear then it could well be worth making your way over to Saltrock’s website this week, where you’ll find plenty of Black Friday-themed discount offers.   


Always keen not to be outdone by Apple, Samsung will be offering a variety of its latest electrical and mobile devices at one-off discount prices from Friday through until Monday.


Another popular online clothing retailer, Surfdome will be offering up to 50% off its wares on Friday.


Sky’s online shop will open for business and offering plenty of Black Friday discounts this year, including deals on new LG TVs, unlimited broadband and Sky Movies TV packages.


Superdrug will be marking Black Friday by offering up to 60% off many of its most popular products from Wednesday 25th November through until Tuesday 1st December.


Schuh is one of the UK’s leading shoe sellers and it will be discounting heavily across a wide range of men’s and women’s footwear on Friday.       

The Original Factory Shop

The Original Factory Shop sells all manner of branded goods across fashion, electricals, home & garden, beauty & gifts and furniture lines, with hefty discounts on offer as it celebrates what it’s calling the “Black Five Days”.

Tesco/Tesco Direct

Tesco is throwing its very considerable weight behind Black Friday and Cyber Monday and will be discounting a huge array of products.

The Body Shop 

The Body Shop is offering beauty product bundles for which it usually charges £108.50 for a price of just £41.80. 

The Book People

You can probably guess what The Book People will be selling on Black Friday and you can find plenty of book-based bargains on its website already.

The Perfume Shop

Anyone looking to smell great for less this winter should check out The Perfume Shop’s Black Friday bargains, with many of world’s best known fragrance products being given the discount treatment.


TopMan is offering a week of Black Friday discounts on its various fashion lines, with prices being slashed by up to 40%.

Thomas Cook

If you are on the lookout for a bargain holiday then you should check out Thomas Cook’s Black Friday deals which will be on offer all weekend and promise savings worth up to £500.


Thomson will be offering plenty of cut price holidays on Black Friday too, with its discounts getaways set to be available through until Cyber Monday.


Very.co.uk has become one of Britain’s leading online retailers of fashion lines, as well as home and electrical products. It is promising to help make Black Friday 2015 the biggest yet with 1,000s of deals set to go live on its website on November 27th


The Watch Shop will be offering up to 65% off some of its most popular timepieces on Black Friday.


Wickes is offering a deal a day in the run up to Black Friday and is primed to present us with plenty of discounts on home improvement and trade-quality products on the big day itself.

Wex Photographic

Wex Photographic sells all things cameras and will be slashing prices on many of its top-selling products for this year’s Black Friday.


With games consoles and DVD boxsets leading the way, Zavvi will be doing its best to entice us all towards its ‘flash deals’ and discounted offerings this Black Friday.
